City Centre Traffic Operations - You Said, We Did!

Good afternoon,

At yesterday's PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meeting, we discussed the policing priorities that matter most to our residents. Current priorities include targeted activity against illegally used e-bikes and anti-social driving across the city centre.

Throughout June, your City Centre Neighbourhood Officers carried out regular traffic operations to address these concerns and improve safety for everyone. The results were:

Vehicle Stops: 74

Traffic Offence Reports: 35

Vehicles Seized: 22

Arrests: 5

These results demonstrate our continued commitment to tackling the issues that affect our community, making our roads safer, and taking positive action against those whose behaviour causes concern to local residents, businesses and visitors.
